  had first therapy last saturday,wofe is going this sat.

  the topic is clear lol it was weird at first,not because of her,but because its outside of my comfort zone,i normally and the type of person who says mind over matter.

  but it did feel good talking to a stranger who would listen,and wife is going this weekend i hope it goes well.

  i plan on saying as little as possible,i think the more they talk the better..

  since the watchtower publishing business has gone down the crapper, how can the gb keep bringing in the money?

  they only have a limited amount of brooklyn property and international branches to sell, so their real estate sales business can't last long... or can it?

  On the JW front though, IF the new world DID come and all the mansions and houses of the dead were up for grabs, you can bet they would cost $$$$$. The WT would find a way to keep a monetary system going.

  Visit to Austrailia

  we're trying to rebuild our lives after leaving the org, have new experiences and create new memories for ourselves.

  we're planning out our trip to hawaii, nz, austrailia and tahati in february.

  i thought i'd see if anyone on here could give us some advice on places to see/stay/eat in brisbane and thereabouts, as well as places to steer clear of.

  you could also do a day trip from brisbane to adelaide...only 22 hours straight...(still a 'day trip')

  seriously though, stay away from the gold coast and at least go north to caloundra/noosa and the glasshose mountains

  1. my husband's time is finite, it's wasted on spouses arguing over money, sex or family mattters with stupid home visits.. .

  i hate people's constant open hand for money, it's the weak individuals asking others to pull their weight.

  my family worked extra hours instead of begging the strong members for district assembly money, cat food for seven cats or tiny little rag-a-muffins weiner dogs.. .

  Connie, you DO have a choice like it or not. Do you think getting out of the Watchtower is easy? A cop out? It means one is WEAK? Leaving the witnesses was the hardest thing i ever had to do, it cost me my wife, my kids and my house and all my friends collected over my life. It was get out or die, I choose to get out and rebuild.

  First thing you need to realize is that Jehovah is not real, then that the Organization is nothing but a publishing and real estate corporation. Get angry that you have been conned then get out and get a life while you still can.

  Stop playing the victim and take off that judgement hat you wear.

  Why most young/teen JW's are born-in's?

  age 8-18 or maybe older.why won't you find young people or teens in the world who want to learn about the jw's without being taught by their parents?i mean c'mon guys we all know that the majority of the jw youth are jw's because their mothers,fathers or both told them about the org.any thoughts?.

  Watch Tower Web Site Has No Commenting Feature, Comments Unwelcome,

  well it comes as no surprise that the "official" watch tower web site has no place to leave a comment you can only leave your address if your interested.. can you imagine if they did have a place where you can post comments what would happen?.

  i'm sure the lack luster of the wt web site is due to the fact that a bunch of old governing body member must go over it with a fine toothed comb and with all thier other business to carry out as corporation executives it is just to time consuming and lets face it these old guys just don't have what it takes to bring this organization thru the 21st century, they are too lost in thier delusion, they are fighting thier own shadow, the enemy is everyone that disagrees with them and they are so steeped in denial they don't want to hear any comment that doesn't agree with them.

  they only want confirmation biased statements to read, all else must be resisted and faught against.. internet presents is very important to the wt or it should be as door to door sales will no longer pay the bills, who wants a trashy magazine when you can down load info cheaply and quickly off the net.. these delusional old guys running the wt will be the reason they go belly up.

  I wouldn't expect any organization to have a comments section...it's an information site not a blog.

  but an online register for people to put themselves as do not calls would be an eye opener for the WT for sure!
